Tori reacts to the opening of Skin Deep:
All she knew going in was that it was a “Valentine’s Day episode” and was going to give her a lot of feels, possibly Reichenbach level feels. She had no idea about the Rumplestiltskin focus (her favorite character), or that it was based upon Beauty & the Beast, one of her favorite fairy tales.
This also features appearances from Mysticstar and Puddlepiratey. I’m the voice behind the camera, obviously.
Watch Once Upon a Time and perhaps you too can have ridiculous reactions like this…

I’ve noticed this with each rewatch and each time it seems to bother me more.
He brought her tea.
He’s smashing the teacups, stops at the chipped cup (lakjslkfjelkjs goes my heart, every time) and we next see it in the dungeon with Belle. The tray, the pot, and the cup are with her in the dungeoun.
At some point he brought her tea.And it wasn’t included in the episode.
I want to know how that conversation went down. Desperately. You don’t just waltz in and give someone tea when you think they’ve betrayed you and tried to trick you. It must have been so awkward.

In the OUAT episode Skin Deep, when Belle and Rumpelstiltskin are talking about Gaston, a candlestick and a clock are on a little table in the background. LUMIERE AND COGSWORTH!
I’m almost caught up with Once Upon a Time.
*spoiler warning*
I just watched Fruit of the Poisonous Tree and Skin Deep. First of all, SO MANY DISNEY REFERENCES! In Fruit, there was all this Aladdin stuff, like the wish rules, and the golden bracelets and Agrabah, and a nod to One Thousand and One Nights when the genie mentions granting 1001 wishes. It made me really happy. But then I watched Skin Deep… ahdfhfvhv. I had known about the Rumbelle pairing due to tumblr, but I can see why it’s gaining a following. And the Beauty and the Beast references in this, oh my gosh! Chip, Gaston, the rose, him waiting at the window for her to come back, yellow and blue dresses… A great episode overall. Mr. Gold is becoming one of my favorite characters, simply because of his character development. And I think he will end up changing sides in the end. Now only one more episode and I’m caught up!
BTW, anyone have a clue who the nurse is that Regina gave a rose to at the end of Skin Deep?
